Kennerly's photos help close the book on Saigon's fall

In the tradition of Life magazine, Politico.com presents a photo essay titled “Inside the Final Days of Vietnam”  by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer David Hume Kennerly.  The essay is in black and white, which adds to the somberness and sobriety of the captured candid moments. The essay contains 39 photos, with a longish text lead-in to tee up the presentation, but can be viewed quickly as a slideshow thanks to a  translucent gray triangle on the right side of each photo. Click. Click. Click. Etc. Well worth the look for history buffs in general and Vietnam vets in particular.  — LINK
